The objects are a recreation of something that once existed, but are now transformed through, liquefaction, drying, smothering or solidifying into a ruin. I am examining entropy; the gradual decline into disorder and its impact on memory. Memory is triggered by disintegration, loss and endings that are revealed in poetic imagery. Ruins have appeared throughout the history of painting and have intrigued humans of all ages. They trigger nostalgic memories about the past and can transport us into the future.
